Beauty Wishlist August 2015

1.  Sleek i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Au Naturel - £7.99: I have used a Sleek i-Divine palette before and I loved it, eyeshadows aren't chalky and great pigmentation. Definitely should be worth a lot more and I feel like they don't get enough recognition. Could we also appreciate how lovely the colours look as well please?

2.  Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Perfume - £52: Saw this one the way back from holiday in duty free and sprayed it on myself instantly, the bottle definitely attracted me first, I mean look at it! If somebody would please like to treat me? Ha ha

3.  Flawless by Sonya Volumizing Mascara - £21.36: Another beauty product from the business I am lusting over. I've seen so many posts on Facebook about this mascara and I've already fell in love with it without even using it. By looking at people's pictures I would definitely say this is a mascara must have! Check out some pics on Google if you don't believe me!

4.  Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Polish in Oh Mr Darcy - £4.49: Perfect nude shade and a bargain. Need I say more?

5.  Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in Pretty in Nude - £7.99: So I've been looking to purchase a new dark nude compared to my skin colour and I definitely think this might be next on the lips, it's pretty inexpensive and I haven't tried any Bourjois lipsticks yet!

6.  Ambre Vanille Body Scrub by Laura Mercier - £37.00: I've been seeing these all over people's blogs and on Youtube and I have been dying to try it out! But I probably should save up for this one!

7.  Aquatic Treasures Summer Bronzing Compact by Clarins - £30.00: Okay so this looks like the perfect bronzer for me. I have a tan on my body at the moment as I haven't long been on holiday but the tan on my face always fades a lot quicker than my body. I need something to give me that lovely bronzed glow and this looks like it should be it, a huge compact, lovely packaging and not too shimmery? Just what I look for in a bronzer. NEED IT.

8.  Flawless by Sonya Delicious Lipstick in Almond by Forever Living - £21.36: Okay I've talked about these lipsticks before in one of my earlier posts on Forever Living makeup (check it out if you haven't already) and now I need a new shade, another nude!

9.  Sonya Aloe Nourishing Serum - £34.69: I haven't really used serums before but I would like to try to, may as well start now haven't I? Someone I know uses this and loves it which is making me put it on my wishlist, the packaging is so nice and sophisticated as well, a really lovely high end product look about it.

10.  Mac Studio Finish Concealer - £15.50: Used this before and I love this concealer. Such high coverage and covers everything. Need to repurchase immediately.

11.  Nars Eye Paint in Porto Venere - £18.50: So I've always wanted a high end paint pot, they just look so much nicer to use. Instead of Mac I really want to try something different, Nars is the best bet right?

12.  Aloe Eye Makeup Remover by Forever Living - £9.40: Ran out of my old one and in need of a new one and want to try something different. Definitely want to give this a go seeing as it's a reasonable price!

13.  Soap and Glory Ultimelt - £10.00: Really want to try a new hot cloth cleanser and this one looks lovely. Always love the names of Soap and Glory products, oh and they're packagings are always so cute and stand out!

Wishlist : July 2015

2.  Jo Malone Candle in Sweet Almond and Macaroon - £42.00: I have always wanted to get a Jo Malone candle after seeing so many bloggers and Youtubers burning them away, this scent definitely caught my eye! I'm trying to justify to myself that I need to treat myself to a new candle for my new house, sounds okay, right?

3.  Matalan Cut Out Tea Light Holder - £8.00: I have to say this is definitely quite a bargain for what this is! It's so pretty and would be great for the stash of tea lights I already have.

4.  Skinny Dip London Iphone 6 Silver Glitter Case - £18.00: So I too have fallen in love with these glitter cases, they seem to be everywhere and they've got my attention. The sliver and pink glitter is my personal favourite.

5.  Flawless by Sonya Precision Liquid Eye Liner - £18.85: Since working with Forever Living the make-up has been the collection that has caught my eye the most and this is by far the first on my lists to try out, I'm running out of the one I use now, maybe a cheeky purchase? Trying to justify it to myself again.

6.  Mac Lipstick in Modesty - £15.50: Okay, I'll admit it I have never owned a Mac lipstick (cries). I have a lip liner in subculture and it is fab, I think it's time I try out the lipsticks and see what all the fuss is about!

7.  Missguided Button Front Suede Mini Skirt Navy - £20.00: I am already planning outfits with this skirt so I'm in desperate need of it! Loving the suede at the moment.

8.  New Look Tan Metal Trim Loafers - £19.99: Look great with the Missguided skirt right? At the moment I'm still living in my beloved BooHoo boots and New Look sandals, time for a change!

9.  Skinny Dip London Pink Shell Cross Body Bag - £30.00: How cool is this bag?! All I need to say.

10.  Urban Decay Smoky Palette: So this hasn't been released yet but it will be in 6 days and I am dying to try it out!!

Becoming Healthier!

First of all I would like to say sorry for not posting in a while! Trying to fit in as much family and friend time before I go off back to uni! Will definitely be back on it now!

So, after I went to Ibiza I definitely came back feeling like crap, but also looking like crap. I said to myself I needed to get back on the health kick with the amount of alcohol I consumed and all the nice, but not so good for you, food. So a week after Ibiza, (once I had fully recovered ha ha) I decided to use these three products from Forever Living.

First, let's start with the aloe vera drink! I've chosen to do a 60ml shot a day of the berry nectar purely because it tastes better than the pure aloe!! It's definitely not known for its taste but this one isn't so bad, it's mixed with cranberries so definitely easier to drink! The aloe gel is a whole concoction of nutrients, enzymes, amino acids, vitamins and proteins. It's known for helping digestive problems (e.g. IBS and Crohn's Disease), balancing the immune system and for energy levels. The reason I've started to drink this is to get my immune system back to normal and finally gain energy levels again. After Ibiza my skin was really bad and I had a really bad breakout - fortunately using this it feels so much better, including my nails too as I had acrylics done for my holiday as well! It's definitely worth the bad taste haha, now I can actually get up in the mornings and stop feeling so sluggish.

Next is the Garcinia Plus dietary supplements! I take two of these at a time and these are to help speed up your metabolism and to help burn any existing fats! These are also used on the C9 which I posted about earlier this month and they sure do work a treat, I've definitely noticed a difference - so if I do want that cheeky takeaway sometimes I can and not feel guilty about it!

Now, the forever lite ultra shakes! Have to say the vanilla flavour is to die for!! If you're eating healthy and want something sweet and to kick that crave this is definitely the right way to go! I have this instead of a meal, this would be usually breakfast or lunch. It defintiely fills you up and also comes in the flavour chocolate! You can mix this with water, milk (I use semi-skimmed) almond milk, hazelnut milk or soya milk. I also blend some raspberries and strawberries within it to give me a different flavour sometimes, The best thing about it is that it doesn't feel like you're drinking a meal replacement, it feels like a milkshake to me. Definitely tricks my brain ha ha!

If you're wanting to kick start your weight loss, but don't want to jump in to do a full cleanse or a detox then these three products together are probably the best way to do it. If you then decide to do a detox or cleanse then your body is already prepared for it!

Sleek Makeup

I've always used Sleek make up and I really don't think it gets the recognition it deserves! I've used this brow palette for a while now, I'd say close to a year and I've only had to repurchase it twice!! I love it so much and haven't used anything other than this for my brows. It comes with a powder and a wax, also with two brushes and a pair of mini tweezers! I have the kit in light and the colour is perfectly suited for me, I don't like to have such a dark colour on my brows because I have quite fair blonde hair! It's such good quality and I would definitely recommend - I'd say it beats the Benefit brow kit and it is considerably cheaper!

The contour kit is also a little gem in the sleek collection. This kit definitely does NOT get enough recognition - it is lovely! I also have this kit in the shade light as well seeing as without a tan my face can be quite a fair colour. It's a lovely shade and definitely not orange. What I find about searching for the right bronzer is that most are too orange and have too much shimmer in them, this one is near enough matte. Also, let's talk about the highlighter! This is amazing and I go to pick up over my Benefit high beam. It's just such a lovely colour on but doesn't stand out too much, you could build it up to be but I quite like the subtle look for the day time. I also use it on my lids for a quick day make up look.

I definitely would recommend most sleek products and I cannot wait to try some more, lipsticks next? Surely I NEED them, right?

Pricing;
Brow Kit - £8.49
Contour Kit - £6.49

My Top Skincare Products

I've been using these three products together for around two months now and I must say my skin has never been better, my tan from Ibiza may be a contributor to this, but still haha! I'm not saying that my skin is perfect, because it's not. I do still get the odd blemish now and then however they have worked wonders for me. I don't have dry skin at all, in fact I have quite oily skin but my skin felt dry, more dehydrated than anything.

Using these products has finally given me what my skin needs - hydration! Praise the lord! So, each product I've been using tackles different parts of my skin. The dark angels scrub from Lush helps my skin become less oily - it has charcoal within it which combats the oils in your pores! I'm still oily but there's definitely a difference! The forever aloe scrub tackles my spots and blackheads works wonders - it can also be used on the body as an exfoliate and smells great too!

Finally the last product is the aloe purifying cleanser and by the best cleanser I have used! I've used many cleansers and some high end ones including that, but this is lovely. It feels great on the skin and after washing it off my skin feels so soft and smooth, feels amazing in the morning. Also, the smell is to DIE for!! If you like citrus smells this is definitely the cleanser for you!!

Forever Living Makeup

Working within the business of Forever Living the one thing that really catches my eye is the Flawless Sonya make-up collection. The best thing about it is that the products are natural! I want to start taking care of my skin more and the first step is what I'm putting on my face and what my body is then absorbing!

I have to say that the Sonya collection is stunning. The colours within some of these products are lovely, an example would be the picture of the eye shadow quad. Absolutely gorgeous on. I definitely would say these compare with some of the high end products on the market!! I use a lot of benefit make up and Forever is edging as the winner at the moment.

This is only a small selection of the make up range and there's so many other things to explore and try out. I'm very excited about purchasing the liquid eye liner they just brought out - definitely a must have in a make up bag!

One of my favourites of the Sonya collection is most definitely the lipstick! Feels lovely on the lips like a moisturising lipstick and gives a nice sheen finish! Also, the best part about the BB crème is the fact that it adapts to what skin type you are, which I particularly like because my skin is quite oily and finding a good BB crème is hard enough as it is without it actually adapting to my skin!

All Products;
Baked Eye Shadow Quad - Velvet Plum
Aloe BB Crème - Nude
Delicious Lipstick - Watermelon
Concealer Duet - Light
Defining Eye Pencil
Defining Lip Pencil - Nude
Luscious Lip Colour - Perfect Pink

Clean 9 Cleanse

Okay so this feels weird being in my underwear on my second post! I've done this post to show you my weight loss journey so far with the C9 detox from the company, Forever Living. This is an amazing detox I must say, hard at times, but most definitely worth it.

For me I lost 9lb and 11.5 inches from everywhere in just 9 DAYS! I was shocked myself and a little sceptical at first and didn't think much about actually losing weight, I wanted to but first I needed to detox my body and get rid of all the crap in it!

I'll first tell you about what Forever Living are about. They are a company based on the plant aloe vera. They use this aloe vera gel in their products, however what makes them different is that they only use the inside of the plant, this is the most beneficial and efficient part of the plant. So, within this detox you had to drink quite a bit of aloe vera gel, I must say the taste is not so good. But, the benefits of it are wonderful. My hair and nails were a lot healthier and so was my skin! I don't have such bad skin a few spots now and again but this cleared up blemishes and tackled my dark circles (by the way thanks for those, mum).

The detox is not just drinking aloe vera gel don't worry there's a lot more to it than that. But after using this and more of their products I wanted to learn more about the business and that's when I joined in May! Don't regret it one bit and it's been such a learning curve and fun thing to do! Seeing as I can't justify the C9 I'll leave a link to it so you can look for yourself, I don't want to bore you too much!!
